Ingredients
- 1 large tomato
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 Tablespoon sea salt
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chipotle powder
- 3 Tablespoons horseradish
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 oz vodka
- Ice
Instructions
- Quarter the large tomato.
- Run the tomatoes through a juicer.
- In a food processor or blender, mix the tomato juice, basil, sea salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and chipotle powder until well-combined.
- Pour the mixture into a pitcher and stir in the lemon juice and horseradish.
- Grind fresh black pepper in a dish and rim the glass.
- Wet the glass rim with a discarded lemon half and rim the glass in the dish of pepper.
- Fill a low ball glass with ice and add 1 oz. of vodka.
- Top off with the Bloody Mary mix and garnish with fresh basil.
