Ingredients
- 2 tbsp salted butter (softened)
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tbsp rum extract (or rum emulsion)
- 1/4 cup vanilla ice cream (softened)
- 1 cup boiling water
- cinnamon stick (for garnish (optional))
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, powdered sugar, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until fluffy.
- Add the rum extract and softened vanilla ice cream to the bowl. Mix until well combined with only a few clumps.
- Transfer the buttered rum mixture to a sealable container and freeze until firm, about 2-4 hours.
- When ready to serve, boil 1 cup of water and pour it over approximately 1/2 cup of the buttered rum mixture in a glass.
- Stir well and garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
- Serve and enjoy.
