Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz ZEN Green Tea Liqueur
  • 2 oz prepared Gold-Tipped Assam Black Tea
  • 0.50 oz Heavy Cream
  • 3 crushed Cardamom Pods or 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 1 slice Fresh Ginger
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Cloves

Instructions

  1. Combine the hot Assam Tea, Heavy Cream, and ZEN Green Tea Liqueur. Pour into a mug and garnish with a Cinnamon Stick.
  2. To prepare the tea: Combine 1 part cold water with 5 parts boiling water to reach approximately 180 degrees F.
  3. Use 1/4 cup of dry tea leaves for every 2 cups of hot water (1:8 ratio). Steep for 2 minutes along with the Chai spices.
  4. Strain the tea, reserving the Cinnamon Stick(s), and chill.
