Ingredients
- 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 tbsp tequila
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp agave nectar (or honey)
- Extra ice, if needed
- 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsp tequila
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp agave nectar (or honey)
- Extra ice, if needed
- 1/4 cup coconut milk (I recommend full-fat)
- 2 tbsp silver tequila
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp agave nectar (or honey)
- Extra ice, if needed
- Optional: a fresh lime wedge and margarita salt or sugar, to rim the glass
Instructions
- In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar. Blend until smooth, adding extra ice if needed for a thick slushy consistency.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into a container and store in the freezer.
- Rinse the blender and repeat the blending process for the frozen blueberries and coconut milk, each with tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar. Store each mixture in the freezer.
- If desired, rim the serving glass with salt or sugar using a lime wedge.
- Scoop the strawberry margarita into the bottom of the glass, filling it one-third full.
- Carefully layer the blueberry margarita on top of the strawberry layer.
- Finish by adding the coconut margarita to the glass.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the layered red, white, and blue margarita!
