Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 orange, sliced
- 6 oz dry red wine
- 1 oz brandy
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 apple, cored and diced
- Ice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the sugar and 1/4 cup water. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then cool completely.
- Add the cooled sugar mixture to a large pitcher.
- Slice 1 orange and add it to the pitcher, and squeeze the juice from the other orange into the pitcher.
- Add the red wine, brandy, Triple Sec, cinnamon sticks, and diced apple to the pitcher.
- Chill the sangria until cold or serve it over ice.
