Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 oz evaporated milk
  • 3/4 oz cream of coconut (such as Coco Lopez)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 oz white, añejo or spiced Puerto Rican rum
  • Garnish: 2 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream of coconut, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Bring to a simmer while stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool.
  3. Stir in the rum until well combined.
  4. Pour the Coquito into a glass over ice.
  5. Garnish with 2 cinnamon sticks.
