Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons caster sugar
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 ounce dark rum
- 1/4 ounce brandy
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Ground nutmeg, for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the egg, sugar, and milk. Whisk the mixture until well combined.
- Cook the mixture, stirring constantly, for 6 to 8 minutes or until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the rum, brandy, and half of the heavy cream.
