Ingredients
- 2 oz Irish whiskey
- 1 teaspoon ground espresso
- 2 teaspoons demerara sugar
- 3 oz cold brew coffee
- Whipped cream (for serving)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the Irish whiskey and espresso, then let it stand for 15 minutes.
- Strain the whiskey-espresso mixture through a coffee filter into a cocktail shaker.
- In another small bowl, stir the demerara sugar with 2 teaspoons of hot water until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the demerara syrup and cold brew coffee to the cocktail shaker, then fill it with ice.
- Shake the mixture until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty, which should take about 30 seconds.
