Ingredients

  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • 1 oz light cream
  • 1 egg
  • 0.50 oz bourbon
  • 0.50 oz rum
  • 1.50 tsp sugar
  • Freshly grated nutmeg (to taste)
  • Cinnamon stick (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until it forms peaks.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and slowly add the bourbon and rum while stirring continuously.
  3. Combine the beaten heavy cream and the egg-liquor mixture in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk.
  4. Slowly whisk in the light cream and sugar, then grate fresh nutmeg on top and stir in.
  5. Store the eggnog in the refrigerator for the first night with the lid slightly ajar, then seal the jar.
  6. Allow the eggnog to mature for 2-3 weeks before serving.
