Easter Spice Rum Latte

Ingredients
- 1 oz prepared espresso coffee
- 1 oz rum
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon and cardamom syrup
- whipped cream and ground cinnamon, to top
Instructions
- In a small glass, combine the espresso, rum, and cinnamon and cardamom syrup.
- Stir the ingredients together.
- Top the cocktail with lightly whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- For the cinnamon and cardamom syrup: In a pot, combine 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cardamom pods, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/4 cup of water. Heat until simmering, then remove from heat. Let the syrup infuse and cool for up to 12 hours. Remove cinnamon and cardamom before using. Store the syrup for up to 2 weeks.
