Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp raw cashews
  • 1 3/4 cups oat milk
  • 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of vanilla powder
  • Pinch of ground cloves
  • 1 oz non-alcoholic rum (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashews in boiling water for 20 minutes.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine soaked cashews, oat milk, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla powder, and cloves.
  3. Blend on high for about 5 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  4. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh or a nut-milk bag to remove any nut pulp.
  5. Stir in the non-alcoholic rum, if desired.
  6. Serve hot or cold, and optionally sprinkle with cinnamon. Refrigerate any leftovers for up to a week.
