Ingredients
- 3 tbsp raw cashews
- 1 3/4 cups oat milk
- 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of vanilla powder
- Pinch of ground cloves
- 1 oz non-alcoholic rum (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the cashews in boiling water for 20 minutes.
- In a high-speed blender, combine soaked cashews, oat milk, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla powder, and cloves.
- Blend on high for about 5 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Strain the mixture using a fine mesh or a nut-milk bag to remove any nut pulp.
- Stir in the non-alcoholic rum, if desired.
- Serve hot or cold, and optionally sprinkle with cinnamon. Refrigerate any leftovers for up to a week.
