Cool Raspberry Sherry Twist
A modern twist on the classic Pimm's Cup featuring amontillado sherry, blanco tequila, raspberry jam, and a hint of refreshing cucumber tonic water.
Ingredients
- 1 oz amontillado sherry, preferably Lustau
- 3/4 oz blanco tequila, preferably Tequila Cabeza
- 1/4 oz lemon juice
- Heaping spoonful raspberry jam or preserves
- Small pinch salt
- 1 1/2 oz Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Cucumber Tonic Water
Instructions
- In a mixing tin filled with ice, combine all the ingredients except the Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Cucumber Tonic Water.
- Shake the mixture until chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into a chilled double Old-Fashioned glass over ice.
- Top the cocktail with chilled Fever-Tree Refreshingly Light Cucumber Tonic Water.
- Garnish with a lemon twist and fresh mint, or a combination of fresh herbs like mint, cilantro, and basil.
