Colely Coffee Negroni
A modern twist on the classic Negroni, the Colely Coffee Negroni offers a rich and complex flavor profile, with the unique addition of coffee-infused Campari.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. London Dry gin
- 1 oz. Coffee-infused Campari (See instructions for coffee-infused Campari)
- 1/4 oz. sweet vermouth (Cocchi Torino)
- 1/4 oz. Fernet-Branca
- 1/4 oz. Medium Amoroso sherry
- 1 twist of orange peel (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the coffee-infused Campari by adding 1 Tbsp. of whole coffee beans to 250 ml Campari in a jar. Steep for 3 hours, shaking occasionally. Strain through a coffee filter.
- In a mixing glass, stir together the gin, coffee-infused Campari, sweet vermouth, Fernet-Branca, and sherry with ice to dilute and chill.
- Strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
- Twist an orange peel over the top of the drink to release the oils, and then discard the peel.
- Serve and enjoy!
