Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon hot chocolate mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 to 1.50 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup cold heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the dark chocolate and melt it in the microwave or using a double boiler.
  2. Stir in sugar, hot chocolate mix, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Add 1/2 cup of milk and mix until fully combined.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture into a blender, add the remaining milk and ice, and blend until smooth.
  4. Adjust the consistency by adding more ice if desired.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until it forms soft peaks.
