Ingredients
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla ice cream (softened)
- 1/8 tsp apple pie spice
- 2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Batter
- 2 oz gold rum (or spiced rum)
- 4 oz hot apple cider
- Whipped cream (for serving)
- Ground cinnamon and cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Stir in the brown sugar and powdered sugar until well combined. Remove from heat.
- Add the softened vanilla ice cream and apple pie spice, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container, seal, and freeze until solid.
- When ready to serve, measure 2 tablespoons of Hot Buttered Rum Batter and 2 ounces of rum into a 6-ounce glass mug.
- Fill the mug with hot apple cider, then stir to mix the ingredients.
