Ingredients

  • 4 oz Maker's Mark Bourbon
  • 1 oz Granulated Sugar
  • Juice of 3 Lemons
  • Juice of 3 Oranges
  • 4 oz Tea
  • 1 oz Champagne
  • Freshly grated Nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel the oranges and lemons, keeping the peels. Juice the oranges and lemons.
  2. In a punch bowl, combine sugar and citrus peels. Muddle together until the sugar starts to clump together. Let it sit for about 2 hours.
  3. Brew the tea for about 30 minutes, then remove the loose tea or tea bags and allow it to cool.
  4. Add the juice of the peeled fruit, tea, and bourbon to the punch bowl. Stir gently.
  5. Top with champagne just before serving and stir gently.
  6. Top with freshly grated nutmeg and serve. If fresh nutmeg isn't available, garnish with citrus wheels or fresh fruit.
