Blueberry Sherry Cobbler
A refreshing and fruity cocktail featuring blueberry cordial, fino sherry, and a hint of balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. fino sherry
- 1 oz. blueberry cordial
- 3/4 oz. Cappelletti Aperitivo Specialino Rosso
- 1/2 oz. gin
- 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 oz. Cappelletti Pasubio Vino Amaro
- 1/2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 3 dashes saline solution (1:10 salt to water)
- For Blueberry Cordial:
- 3 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a shaker, add 1 or 2 ice cubes and shake until the ice is gone. This technique is known as the "Whip Shake."
- Fill a pilsner glass with crushed ice, or any glass that can hold about 8 ounces of liquid volume.
- Pour the cocktail over the ice.
- Blueberry Cordial: Blend blueberries and water in a powerful blender. Add the sugar to the blueberry mixture, then stir to dissolve. Will keep in the refrigerator for up to a month.
