Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. fino sherry
  • 1 oz. blueberry cordial
  • 3/4 oz. Cappelletti Aperitivo Specialino Rosso
  • 1/2 oz. gin
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz. Cappelletti Pasubio Vino Amaro
  • 1/2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 3 dashes saline solution (1:10 salt to water)
  • For Blueberry Cordial:
  • 3 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, add 1 or 2 ice cubes and shake until the ice is gone. This technique is known as the "Whip Shake."
  2. Fill a pilsner glass with crushed ice, or any glass that can hold about 8 ounces of liquid volume.
  3. Pour the cocktail over the ice.
  4. Blueberry Cordial: Blend blueberries and water in a powerful blender. Add the sugar to the blueberry mixture, then stir to dissolve. Will keep in the refrigerator for up to a month.
