Ingredients

  • 1/2 Lime (fresh), chopped
  • 3 teaspoons Caster sugar (white)
  • 3 Raspberries (fresh)
  • 2 Blackberries
  • 3 Blueberries (fresh)
  • 1 ripe Strawberry (hulled, small)
  • 2 oz Cachaça (chilled)

Instructions

  1. Cut the lime into half-moon segments and place them in a sturdy rocks glass.
  2. Add caster sugar and muddle with the lime to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Muddle the mixed berries with the lime and sugar until the fruit juices are fully extracted.
  4. Transfer the muddled fruit and sugar into a serving glass.
  5. Pour the chilled cachaça into the rocks glass and swirl to rinse before pouring it into the serving glass. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
  6. Crack four to five large ice cubes using an ice tapper and drop them into the serving glass. Stir before topping with more ice and serve with a stirrer.
