Ingredients
- 1.50-2 ounces gin
- 1 oz. bergamot syrup
- 3/8 oz. fresh bergamot juice
- 1 egg white
- 2 ounces soda water
- 1 thin slice of bergamot for garnish
Instructions
- Create the bergamot syrup by gently heating the freshly squeezed bergamot juice and granulated sugar in a saucepan until the sugar completely dissolves. Let the syrup cool completely.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, bergamot syrup, and egg white, and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds before adding a cup of ice and shaking again for 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a highball glass with a few ice cubes and top each drink off with soda water.
- Garnish with a slice of bergamot and enjoy the Bergamot Breeze.
