Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Whole milk
- 2 oz Semi-sweet chocolate (60% cocoa solids) (or 0.5 oz milk chocolate + 1.5 oz dark chocolate (with 70% cocoa solids))
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons Baileys Irish cream
- 1/4 cup Heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons Baileys Irish cream
- 1/4 teaspoon Chocolate flakes
Instructions
- Pour the milk into a pan and heat over medium heat.
- Add the chocolate and stir until melted and the milk is steaming but not boiling.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and Baileys Irish cream.
- Optional: Use a milk frother or immersion blender to blend until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and 2 teaspoons of Baileys Irish cream until soft peaks form.
- Pour the hot chocolate into a mug and top with the Baileys whipped cream and chocolate flakes.
