Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons fig preserves
  • 1/4 ounce peated Scotch (preferably Ardbeg)
  • 1 1/2 ounces Dewars 12 blended Scotch
  • 1/2 ounce Briottete fig liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce ginger honey
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Maldon smoked salt

Instructions

  1. Stir together fig preserves and peated Scotch in a cocktail shaker or mixing tin.
  2. Add the Dewars 12 blended Scotch, fig liqueur, ginger honey, lemon juice, and a pinch of Maldon smoked salt to the shaker.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake well.
  4. Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Garnish the cocktail with a fig quarter and a sprig of rosemary.
